Description

Proper Hospitality is seeking an experienced Head of Membership to join our team. 

As the Head of Membership, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the membership experience throughout a select number our hotels. You will lead initiatives to attract new members, drive member engagement and loyalty and maximize the value of our membership programs. This role requires a creative thinker with a passion for luxury hospitality and a strong understanding of customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Membership Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive strategies to attract new members, increase membership retention and drive revenue growth

  • Membership Program Management: Oversee all aspects of our membership programs, including benefits, pricing and communication strategies

  • Member Engagement: Create engaging experiences and exclusive events to cultivate strong relationships with members and enhance their sense of belonging to our brand

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to track membership trends, measure program effectiveness, and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to align membership initiatives with overall business objectives

  • Partnership Development: Establish partnerships with luxury brands, lifestyle influencers and relevant organizations to enhance the value proposition for our members

  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to hotel staff to ensure a seamless and personalized experience for members at every touchpoint

  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the annual budget for membership programs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve desired outcomes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in membership management, preferably in the luxury hospitality or lifestyle industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and implementing successful membership strategies
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and CRM systems
  • Creative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Flexibility to travel as needed
