Job description

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF POSITION

We are looking for a person to join the Design and Technical Services Corporate Team and supporting in everything related to R&M(Repair&Maintenance)/HLP(Energy&water) reporting and Engineering (current portfolio and new openings, sustainability and energy,…). The support in the reporting consists of monthly update of all KPIs and drivers for decision making regarding costs for R&M, and monitoring of consumptions and costs for HLP. Additionally, it will be required to participate in action plans for the follow up of these important elements in Hotel operations. Finally, as part of the sustainability strategy, the analysis of different solutions for energy savings, will be another important commitment.

It is a great opportunity to develop multidisciplinary skills & experience in hospitality projects.


Functions of the role:

·     Prepare executive reports of projects with different tools (advance level in Excel and PowerPoint).

·     Coordinate information coming from hotels.

·     Engineering basics on Building installations.

·     Interpretation of design drawings and specifications for approval

·     Reporting and coordination with consultants for openings and energy contracts when needed.

·     Support central office team and Area Chief Engineers when needed.

 

A successful candidate is (a)/has:

·       One year experience in similar position/roles.  

·       Fluent knowledge of English (C2), verbally and in writing. Written English is at reporting level.

·       Other languages like German or French are a plus

·       Knowledge of reporting processes and following up processes.

·       Basic knowledge of building installation design.

·       Basic knowledge of construction materials & quality conditions.

·       Understanding of budgets related to scope of work.

·       Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Products.

·       Autocad is a plus.

·       Work independently and remotely for short periods.
