We are now looking for a  Assistant Manager Distribution Systems to join our dynamic team here at Radisson Hotel Group!

The Assistant Manager Distribution Systems plays a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Distribution Systems, who oversees a team dedicated to managing distribution systems. This team provides essential support to all revenue and commercial distribution stakeholders.

 

Their primary responsibility is to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the distribution systems. This includes tasks such as monitoring channels for consistency, managing rate disparities, and implementing optimized activities to maximize revenue potential across various distribution channels.

 

Working closely with the Director, they assist in managing the team effectively, allocating resources across projects, and maintaining day-to-day supervision. Their role involves coordinating and planning daily tasks and ad-hoc projects in alignment with the objectives of revenue and commercial distribution stakeholders. Additionally, they actively contribute to maintaining system accuracy by meticulously managing hotel content, policies, and rates within the Radisson Hotel Group’s Central Reservations System (CRS) and OTA connections.

 

Through their diligent efforts, the Assistant Manager of Distribution Systems supports the Director in ensuring the smooth operation of distribution systems, ultimately contributing to the success of revenue and commercial distribution initiatives across the organization.

 Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Channel Maintenance & Performance Monitoring – Oversee regular audits of the CRS (EMMA) to ensure accuracy and completeness of data. Facilitate the loading of any missing products and ensure the correct distribution of products across all channels by sending partner maintenance spreadsheets. Monitor connectivity performance dashboards to optimize channel performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate necessary maintenance tasks.
  • Distribution Optimization – Collaborate with the RHG Distribution team and properties to optimize hotel performance on third-party channels. Coordinate the implementation of endorsed activities aimed at enhancing hotel performance and driving revenue. Lead Revenue Optimization projects, including new partner rollouts and distribution activities, to maximize distribution efficiency.
  • Rate Parity Management – Lead the monitoring and maintenance of Rate Parity across channels by conducting regular audits and troubleshooting any discrepancies. Work closely with properties to ensure adherence to correct procedures and participate in partner activities to maintain rate parity integrity.
  • Process Improvement – Evaluate current processes to identify opportunities for efficiency enhancement within the team. Design and implement new processes as necessary to streamline task execution and improve overall team effectiveness.
  • Technical Support and Team Management – Assist the Manager/Director/Senior Director Revenue Systems in new connectivity projects and rollouts requiring technical expertise for swift and effective delivery. Collaborate with the commercial distribution team to understand requirements and align with RHG procedures and system capabilities. Additionally, provide support in team management tasks such as recruitment, training, onboarding, vacation scheduling, and performance reviews
  • Technical Support and Team Management – Assist the Manager/Director/Senior Director Revenue Systems in new connectivity projects and rollouts requiring technical expertise for swift and effective delivery. Collaborate with the commercial distribution team to understand requirements and align with RHG procedures and system capabilities. Additionally, provide support in team management tasks such as recruitment, training, onboarding, vacation scheduling, and performance reviews.

Job requirements and qualifications:

Minimum education:  Bachelor's degree from accredited university - E-commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality or related major preferred

Minimum experience:  At least two years’ business experience in an international environment with a focus on sales, revenue management, account management and e-commerce.

Experience gained in an OTA, Wholesaler or Hospitality group and previous revenue ownership an advantage.

Language skills: Fluent English both written and spoken, additional language skills are welcome.
