Cabana is the home of the mighty flame-grilled Spicy Malagueta Chicken! Our restaurants are Latin American inspired known for fabulous grills and cocktails delivered in a vibrant, buzzing atmosphere!

We are ideally looking for an Chef de Partie who:

·       Deliver our core focus; To lift people’s spirits & create memorable experiences

·       Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation

·       Manage and oversee a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared to specification

·       Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards

·       Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and maintaining accurate records

·       Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment

·       Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to coordinate and execute service during busy periods

·       Handle customer feedback and special requests, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests

·       Maintain operate and care for kitchen equipment safely, reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly

·       Ensure portion control and minimize waste, adhering to cost control measures.

·       Support with stock management and stock control. Assist in the receiving and proper storage of deliveries, ensuring quality and freshness. Monitor food stock levels and report any shortages or issues promptly

·       Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency

·       Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations at all times

·       Are available full time and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and most holidays

·       Have a good personality and a positive and enthusiastic attitude 

·       Is consistent and reliable and an excellent team player
