Description
Co. restaurant in Chelsea is looking for a full time line cook to round out our team.
Line Cook Description:
• Setting up and stocking stations for menu with all necessary supplies in a time efficient manner
• Assisting the chef/kitchen manager with their daily tasks (preparing food for service e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces etc.)
• Cooking and preparing menu to the exact chef's specifications in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Requirements:
• Team player
• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook, restaurant cook and prep cook
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Familiar with industry's best practices
• Dependable and on time
