2beans is a growing Restaurant/Cafe/Retail chain in Manhattan, seeking an experienced and outgoing Waiter/waitress. This position is at our newest location opening May 2017, on 28th St and 6th Ave.
The successful applicant will need to be polite, confident, flexible and able to use their initiative in a fast paced working environment. Professionalism and enthusiasm are a must.
Your responsibilities include but not limited to:
Taking orders
Serving coffee, specialty drinks, beer, wine, cheese and charcuteries platters.
Controlling Product Quality
Maintaining the highest level of standards for all product preparation.
Adhering to all company recipes and measurements.
Producing superior product presentation.
Educating customers on products and services.
Following health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
Assisting Baristas with preparing items as needed.
Cash handling and till work, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and ensuring service runs smoothly.
Teamwork
Communicating with coworkers & management to solve problems and improve quality & service.
Maintaining continuous communication with other staff functions (i.e. bar, register etc.) during peak business hours.
Working with coworkers and management to effectively implement change.
Contributing to a positive work environment.
Assisting in the opening and/or closing of the store. Protocol will be provided.
Working successfully as part of a team.
