BARTENDER POSITION OVERVIEW
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
•Interact with customers and take orders while maintaining a friendly demeanor
•Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
•Mix ingredients to prepare classic cocktails
•Plan and present bar menu
•Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
•Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
•Have excellent knowledge of all beer, wine, spirits and cocktail menu
•Comply with all food and beverage regulations
•Work together with management and staff members in order to ensure top quality service delivered to client
•Possess excellent skills in customer service
•Ability to respond quickly and intelligently to requests or questions from clients
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, high volume environment
•Possess excellent organization skills
•Ability to maintain a friendly and clean demeanor while interacting with management and clients
•Strong sense of hospitality and service
•Passion for mixology
Qualifications:
•College degree is preferred
•Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: cocktail planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, company policies and procedures and relevant training certificate
•Must possess a valid drivers license
•Must be eligible to work in the United States
•Must agree to background and credit
•Must have knowledge of how to work the Aloha POS system
