Human Resources Intern
Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven HR Intern to
assist with administrative and HR-related tasks. As an HR Intern, you will
provide assistance to our HR Department in day to day operations. You will also
lead various projects while supporting our recruitment, payroll, employee
development, and employee relations initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Post new positions on websites and job boards
- Assist with screening resumes and applications
- Coordinate interviews
- Collect and update our database with new hire
information (e.g. employment forms and contact information)
- Proofread HR documents
- Help prepare Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
documents
- Track progress, priorities, and deadlines of
various projects
- Assist the HR team in organizing career fairs
and special events
Requirements
- Human Resources Management or Business major
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and resume
databases
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic understanding of labor legislation (Occupational
safety and health, Anti-discrimination law, National Labor Relations Act,
etc).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented
environment
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
