The San Vicente Bungalows are looking for some talented culinary artists!
The Culinary department is led by an Executive Chef from some of the finest restaurant kitchens in New York. He is not about pomp and circumstance. The Chef has learned what it takes to be successful and is now looking to make his mark in the CA scene! The Chef is bringing his knowledge of working in prestigious culinary environments and has created a menu that will be a Seasonal California Rustic Mediterranean, designed to provide a great opportunity for culinarians to learn.
We're looking for standout individuals with a passion for delivering world-class food with a Wood Fire Mediterranean flair!
LINE COOK Qualifications:
• 3+ years kitchen experience in a reputable restaurant, preferred either Michelin rated or fine dining
• A team player mentality, and a commitment to distinction and achievement!
• Schedule flexibility is appreciated, but not a hinderance. Let’s talk!

• Growth potential within an ever-expanding hospitality group
Additionally, our ideal candidate should be energetic, well organized, and motivated. We are looking for people who can get the job done as a team player and who can take direction while working well under a pressured and fast paced environment. Those who have worked in fine kitchen surroundings understand that you literally have little space to work in, let alone room for a negative attitude. It is a must that you like working collaboratively with other culinary professionals and provide a respectful ambiance for all to thrive in! The cook should also be an expert in their specific station, but be willing to have a working knowledge of all stations in the kitchen. They should be able to read and follow recipes and standards, train other kitchen staff, and maintain health department, food quality, and restaurant standards.
