Description
AINSWORTH FiDi in Financial District seeks for a part time or full time hostess! We are looking for STRONG/OUTGOING personalities that are looking to possibly grow in the hospitality industry.
The host will report directly to the Reservationist and General Managers. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as a host and knowledge of Open Table. Enthusiasm, accountability, punctuality, & high energy are requisites. Prior New York City restaurant / bar experience a plus.
Requirements:
-Open Table experience (preferred)
-Hospitality/ Customer service experience
-Open Availability (2-3 days minimum)
-Fast, Efficient, Organized and ability to multi-task
-Must be able to think quickly & strategically on your feet
*Must have NIGHTS & WEEKENDS available
Duties will include:
-Greeting & Seating Guests
-Answering Phones (professional phone manner is required)
-Make and cancel small reservations (through Open Table)
-Daily Recaps
-Communicating with servers/managers making sure everything is running smoothly
