Reports to: Director of Membership & Marketing

Summary/Objective

This is a key role that provided the link from the LA club and central office with corporate membership and to find business opportunities. Key objectives are to identify opportunities with prospects and new clients and build them into long-term profitable relationships. Foster new relationships with clients and provide an exceptional customer experience.
Essential Functions

• Develop, Sell and maintain new individual members and corporate membership accounts
• Making “pitches” to win new business
• Identifying promising prospects through cold-calling, networking and membership referrals.
• Directing and coordinating all sales activities locally and regionally
• Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating opportunities for membership in the club.
• Research and identify industries and organizations to solicit for corporate memberships
• Build Strategic business partnership and healthy business relationships with both online and offline clients.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge of professional publications: establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
• Manage, renew and renegotiate terms with existing clients
• Bring on new business and hitting sales quotas with outbound prospecting in a competitive market.
• Meet with prospective members to discuss their evolving needs
• The ability to easily build rapport with a wide variety of people, a confident and persistent manner, as well as knack for recognizing customer opportunities.
• Business and territory development, including generating sales leads and following up with prospective clients.
• Contact all past AllBright clients and re-qualify for future business.
• Stay up to date on service and events to promote
• Present client ideas, information, and needs to Sales Team & Director of Membership and Marketing in any relevant meeting or review
• Present Club Membership & Corporate Account deals to prospective clients.
• To be fully aware of promotional activities and sales targets.
• Maintaining accurate records of the total number of sales made, potential and existing customers, as well as sales employee performance evaluations.
• To attend weekly sales meetings (as required) to provide relevant information pertaining to membership and marketing.
• To generate new businesses by creating awareness in the club with brand partnerships, memberships and complete outreach work.
• To support the Director of Membership & Marketing in delivery of systems and initiatives aimed at improving and maintaining customer retention.
• Assist in campaigns that are designed to profile target areas and groups.

Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a Full-time Salary position that regularly require standard working hours will be 8-9 hours a day/ 5 days a week. May require additional hours on occasional basis with approval.

Education and Experience

• At least 2-5 years’ relevant experience in similar roles and or a comparable combination of education and experience
• Proven experience as a Sales Manager in Hospitality, or in other sales/customer service role
• Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
• Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
• Outstanding knowledge of CRM software (e.g. salesforce) is a plus
• Experience working within hospitality (restaurant, hotel, events, membership organization or similar) preferred but not essential
• Good Excel skills including variance analysis and modelling
• Enthusiastic, committed, and a fast learner with previous experience of a busy environment
• Ability to work with individuals across departments and liaise with external clients and contacts
• Solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize a varied workload

Work Environment

This job operates in an office environment and a private club environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as printers, computers, and phones. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor temperatures, airborne particles, and loud noise levels in the work environment.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position may occasionally require standing, walking, and bending. The employee may occasionally lift and move boxes or items up to 20 pounds.
