Under the My World Enterprise name is a portfolio of restaurants; Alondra’s Craft American Eatery, Alondra Hot Wings and Taco Luv. Summary:

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing each menu item as its ordered, ensuring each plate arrives at the guest with proper plating, presentation, and quality. The kitchen is a fast-paced environment so every one of our team members must be able to work well under pressure, communicate with other team members and take pride in their work.


Essential Functions:

Responsible for the exact preparation of each menu item and feature dishes within the assigned station.

Must follow the direction of the culinary team in all aspects of the kitchen operation

Must maintain a clean and organized workstation

Prepare each dish on our menu using our proven recipes and portion sizes

Work with the team to do portion prep work for other shifts when required

Follow all required food handling procedures

Become proficient in all food stations

Follow the protocol for Alondra’s first in, first out inventory management policy

Ensure company & California health standards are maintained at all times

Maintain a safe working environment per Company and Cal OSHA guidelines

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of restaurant experience as a Line Cook.

High School Diploma/GED required

Some culinary training desired, but not required.

Passion for food and creating an amazing guest experience

Highly energetic, self-motivated and goal oriented

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including, opening, closing, weekend and holidays.

Serv-Safe Certified (and must maintain that certification)
