We’re looking for happy, creative, energetic, ambitious and positive people to join our growing team at Alondra Hot Wings! Team members are responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences for each guest, every time they walk through our doors, call us on the phone, or place an order online.
From greeting our guests with a genuine passion for teaching our guests about our menu and customizing it for their personal preferences, our Shift Managers set the tone for the team and the guest experience. Shift Managers are responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences through personalized customer service and ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served. Shift Managers work in partnership with the kitchen, oversee the dining room experience and lead all team members throughout the day.

As a Shift Manager you will:
Resolve customer incidents and working to ensure exceptional guest experiences
Encourage great guest service from every team member
Assist with food ordering, cash handling procedures, and weekly physical inventory counts
Train, evaluate, motivate and coach team members
Develop team members using cross training
Establish a positive relationship with the team, guests, and vendors
Maintain ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, glassware, dinnerware and utensil quality and placement; monitoring food presentation and service.
Communicate with Head Chef and maintain a close and professional working relationship with the kitchen at all times
To be actively involved in all staff related issues and to handle them in a professional manner. Conduct mini-meetings on a daily basis on which important events, new items, and sales goals are communicated to the team.
Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
Our team members need to:
Stand and/or walk for an entire shift. Our team members are in constant motion in order to deliver an AWESOME guest experience
Communicate clearly and effectively with customers and fellow team members
Lift up to 30 pounds
Requirements
Proven experience as a Shift Manager or relevant role in a restaurant
Good knowledge of restaurant operations
Availability to work different shifts, including weekends
Basic knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
A customer service approach with the ability to manage complaints with professionalism
Excellent organizational skills
Team management abilities
Degree from a two-year degree from a community college is a plus!
