Description
Clocking in at 15,000sq ft, our Red Hook Factory is the largest ice cream production facility in New York City and complete with a scoop shop and an interactive ice cream museum. For perspective on the size, until now, we made all of our ice cream and mix-ins in our 1,000sq ft Gowanus scoop shop. Our Red Hook Factory is a whopping 15 times larger! Within the walls of this state of the art factory, we’ll be baking brownies, packing pints and churning over 500,000 gallons of ice cream a year. That’s 10 times more ice cream than before.

There are great opportunities for growth within the company, especially as we continue to become larger. As we transition from our 1,000sq ft Gowanus kitchen to the factory, we’re looking to add onto our ice cream production team here in Red Hook.

Kitchen experience is a plus but not required
Knowledge of food and chemical safety is a plus but not requiredWe’re looking for someone who is/has:
- Full time availability
- Flexibility to work early mornings/night shifts
- Punctuality
- Highly motivated
- Ability to safely perform specific tasks assigned
- Great communication and problem solving skills
- Attentive to detail
- Ability to work independently but can be team orientated when needed
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work station
