Sales Manager


Description
Solicit transient and group business enabling Angad Arts Hotel to meet and exceed revenue goals in room, food and beverage and function room rental. Solicit and develop corporate accounts to exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication. Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance. Participate in daily business review meeting, pre-convention meetings, training and other sales related meetings as required. Travel to key markets; attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings. Develop/maintain knowledge of market trends, completion and customers.


o Ensure that company reporting systems are adhered to.
o Ensure all hotel policies, standards and local laws are followed.
o Initiate and follow up on leads.
o Maintain and participate in an active sales solicitation program.
o Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluate trends within your market.
o Regularly contact existing accounts based on the tracing frequencies of the Account Coverage Program.
o Meet or exceed sales solicitation call goals as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
o Invite clients to the hotel for entertainment, lunches, tours and site inspections.
o Assist in implementing special promotions relating to direct sales segments, i.e parties, sales blitzes, etc.
o Assist in the preparation of required reports in a timely manner.
o Conduct a professional, thorough site inspection of the hotel with clients, exhibiting key features and benefits of the property.
o Use of Maestro sales management system to manage the hotel’s business, including (but not limited to) generating reports, entering business, blocking space and building accounts.
o Develop networking opportunities through active participation in community and professional associations, activities and events.
o Participate in required M.O.D. and Saturday office coverage as scheduled
