£28,000 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Sommelier to join our stunning private members’ club, Annabel’s, part of The Birley Clubs.

Annabel’s at 46 Berkeley Square has its own, world-class wine cellar, known as the Annabel’s Cellars, with a collection curated by an expert team of Sommeliers. The very best Champagnes, reds, whites, rosés and sweet wines from some of the world’s leading Chateaux, vineyards and producers ensure our Members can enjoy exceptional wines in every restaurant and bar within The Club.

As Junior Sommelier you will support the Sommelier team with all aspects of the wine service in the restaurant and private dining room. You will be responsible for replenishing the wines within the wine cellar as well as refilling the ice buckets and ensuring wine glasses are ready for service.

We are ideally looking for candidates who:

• Have previous experience in a high quality, destination restaurant or private members’ club as a Junior Sommelier or Waiter
• Have a keen interest in wine and a desire to develop their knowledge and progress
• Are excellent team players
• Have great communication skills and attention to detail
• Possess a WSET qualification desirable but not essential
