Junior Sommelier

We are looking for talented and engaging Junior Sommelier to join the team of our stunning new private members club – Annabel’s, 46 Berkeley Square.

Annabel’s at 46 Berkeley Square will cover 26,000 square feet and will include restaurants, bars, private dining rooms and a cigar salon, spread across four spacious floors. The nightclub will be located in the basement of the townhouse and will pay homage to the decadent essence and abundant energy of the original Annabel’s. Outside on the terrace, an enchanting restaurant garden will offer year round dining. The dining options will be extensive and focus on the finest quality ingredients, seasonality and creativity.

As Junior Sommelier you will be expected to support the Sommelier team with all aspects of the wine service in the restaurant and private dining room. As Junior Sommelier you will be responsible for replenishing the wines within wine cellar as well as refilling the ice buckets and ensuring wine glasses are ready for service. As a key part of the role is running wines from the wine cellar to the restaurant the ideal candidate must have a good level of fitness.

The ideal Junior Sommelier will have:
• Previous experience high quality, destination restaurant as a Commis Sommelier or Waiter
• A keen interest in wines and the wish to develop their knowledge and progress
• A WSET qualification is desirable but not essential
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team
• Communicate clearly, professionally and concisely
