We are currently looking for an experienced and talented Sushi Chef de Partie to join the team at Annabel’s private members club, part of the Birley Group.
The Birley Group encompasses some of London’s finest private members clubs; Annabel’s, Mark’s Club, Harry’s Bar, George and Bath & Racquets all based in Mayfair. Arguably one of London’s most iconic members clubs founded in 1963, Annabel’s is the only one of its kind; a members-only dancing and dining club offering sophisticated entertainment and excellent food in the heart of Mayfair.
The successful Sushi Chef de Partie will work closely with the Sushi and Sashimi chefs ensuring the quality of dishes being prepared are consistent and meet the standards of the Head Sushi Chef. A Chef de Partie is responsible for ensuring the more junior chefs in the section are given clear direction and effectively supervised to be able to develop their knowledge and skills.
We are ideally looking for a Sushi Chef de Partie who:
• Has previous Sushi Chef experience in a busy, high quality Japanese restaurant
• Good knowledge of Asian ingredients and techniques is essential
• Has exceptional knife skills with the ability create hand rolls and prepare fish.
• Has the ability to work under pressure maintaining standards and consistency
• Has a passion for food and working with seasonal high quality ingredients
• Has a keen interest to develop their knowledge and progress
