We are looking for an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join the team at our stunning private members club – Annabel’s, 46 Berkeley Square.
The Birley Group encompasses some of London’s finest private members clubs; Annabel’s, Mark’s Club, Harry’s Bar, George and Bath & Racquets all based in Mayfair. Arguably one of London’s most iconic members clubs founded in 1963, Annabel’s is the only one of its kind; a members-only dancing and dining club offering sophisticated entertainment and excellent food in the heart of Mayfair.
As Junior Sous Chef you will:
• Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in the day to day operations of the kitchen
• Play a key role in supervising and developing the brigade.
• Be expected to ensure the highest standards of food preparation and delivery
• Effectively communicate across all sections of the kitchen.
• Have a responsibility for ensuring the more junior chefs comply with all health & safety and food safety policies and procedures.
We are ideally looking for candidates who:
• Currently are a Junior Sous Chef, or a highly experienced Senior Chef De Partie looking for their next promotion
• Have worked in high quality restaurants, experience within private members club an advantage
• Be passionate about delivering high quality dishes using the finest ingredients
• Have experience working in different types of cuisines as we have multiple dining options – international cuisine, Asian, Latin American, French and Italian
• Are able to support in effectively motivating and leading a team
• Are strong communicators and enjoy being part of a large team
