Head Sommelier

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Head Sommelier to join the team of our stunning private members club – Annabel’s, 46 Berkeley Square.

Annabel’s at 46 Berkeley Square covers 26,000 square feet and includes restaurants, bars, private dining rooms and a cigar salon, spread across four spacious floors. The nightclub is located in the basement of the townhouse and pays homage to the decadent essence and abundant energy of the original Annabel’s. Outside on the terrace, an enchanting restaurant garden offers year-round dining. The dining options are extensive and focus on the finest quality ingredients, seasonality and creativity

As Head Sommelier you will be expected to lead the Sommeliers in all aspects of the wine service in the restaurant and private dining room. As Head Sommelier you will recommend and sell wines to our customers that will complement their tastes and menu choices. Engaging with customers is essential therefore a passion for delivering the highest levels of service is essential.

The ideal Head Sommelier will have:
• Previous experience as a Head Sommelier within a high quality, destination restaurant.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with customers and provide charismatic and engaging service
• Possess a minimum WSET Level 3 or equivalent Sommelier qualification
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team
• To be able to communicate clearly, professionally and concisely
