We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Cellar Master to join the team of our stunning new private members club – Annabel’s, 46 Berkeley Square.

Annabel’s at 46 Berkeley Square covers 26,000 square feet and includes restaurants, bars, private dining rooms and a cigar salon, spread across four spacious floors.

As Cellar Master you will report to the Head of Wine with key responsibilities being to accept the wine deliveries for the main wine cellar, the member wine cellar and ensuring accuracy and effective distribution and storage. You will be in direct contact with our members, in order to manage their personal stock, and preparing the wines requested for their meal.

You will be responsible for the processing of wine orders ensuring agreement with the Head of Wine and the accurate and timely processing of invoices and delivery notes. You will also ensure that the storage areas and cellars are kept tidy, stock is effectively rotated and company policies and procedures are followed.

The Ideal candidate will:
• Currently be a Cellar Master, Junior Sommelier or Sommelier in a busy high quality restaurant, club or hotel environment
• Have a keen interest in wines and the wish to develop their knowledge and progress
• A WSET qualification is desirable but not essential
• Have previous ordering experience and strong PC skills – experience of FnB would be desirable but not essential
• Have a good numeracy skills and be organised and methodical at work
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment where attention to detail is essential
• Be an excellent team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• A strong command of the English language is essential
