Do you have previous experience as a Catering Assistant or Kitchen Assistant? Appetite4Work are currently looking for Catering Assistants to join the team of an independent school in Petersfield.
The Place
This is a part-time role (25 hours per week) working either 09:00 – 14:00 or 09:45 – 14:45 Monday – Friday over 35 term weeks + and additional 12 days over school holidays.
The Catering Assistant will be involved in the following:
- Helping with basic food preparation
- Checking and putting away orders
- Helping to wash kitchen equipment and dishes
- Serve food and provide customer service
- Keep dining areas tidy, clean and sanitary.

The Person
Previous experience doing a similar role would be great, but this is not essential as full training will be provided. What we are really looking for is:
- Basic knowledge of food preparation
- Good communication and ability to follow instructions
