Do you have previous experience in either domestic or commercial Cleaning? Appetite4Work are currently an experienced Cleaner for a part-time (evening) role at a School close to Wokingham.

The Place

This is a term-time only role, based on working 15 - 20 hours per week, from 5:00 pm - 08:00 / 09:00 pm Monday - Friday. 
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out cleaning service in specified areas of the school to a high standard as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor and/or Site Manager. Duties will include:

  • Taking responsibility for cleanliness and upkeep of all areas around the school
  • Cleaning and refreshing the toilets
  • Mopping and hoovering hallways and stairwells
  • Scrubbing and polishing floors
  • Cleaning classrooms, meeting rooms and offices
  •  Collecting and discarding waste materials

The Perks

  • Up to £9.20 per hour + holiday pay accrual
  • Weekly pay (every Friday)
  • Evenings only!
  • Free training provided – Food Safety level 2 / Health and Safety and Food Allergens certifications

    • The Person
    Previous experience working within a simial environment would be great, but this is not essential. What we are really looking for is:

  • Experience cleaning either domestic or commercial properties 
  • Good knowledge of cleaning procedures, practices and products.
  • Good knowledge of COSHH and H&S standards/practices
  • Good communication and ability to follow instructions
  • Well presented team players who are happy to get stuck in!
