Do you have previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or Kitchen Assistant? Appetite4Work are currently looking for Kitchen Porters to join our great team for flexible work assignments across Surrey.

Shifts are available on a temporary basis – giving you the flexibility to pick and choose when you work. There is no fixed location, therefore a variety of shift patterns are available, we can accommodate those looking for part-time and full-time weekday and weekend work!
Availability of shifts is dependant on our client's requirements – therefore flexibility and ability to travel is essential as you may be asked to travel to different work locations.

Kitchen Porter responsibilities
- Ensuring the kitchen and food preparation areas are kept, clean, clear and tidy.
- Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
- Helping Chef with deliveries as required

The person
Previous experience doing a similar role would be great, but this is not essential as full training will be provided. What we are really looking for is:
- Good communication and ability to follow instructions
- Team players who are happy to get stuck in and work hard
- Not afraid of physical work
- Own transport would be beneficial
- Own kitchen porter uniform (Safety shoes, suitable plain black trousers and plain black polo t-shirt/long-sleeved t-shirt).
- Ideally worked within an education setting.
