Description
The Radisson Hotel Group (RHG), one of the most dynamic hotel companies in the world, is looking for a Manager Online Partnerships, acting as 12 months maternity cover from May 2019. Location within Europe can be flexible but Frankfurt or London would be preferred.

This role sits at the intersection of Radisson’s distribution, sales, eCommerce and marketing activities and takes global lead account management responsibility for RHG’s relationship and revenues with Expedia Group.

The position is focused on driving optimisation of profitability and market share across Expedia’s geographical points of sale and works within RHG’s wider Online Distribution team to ensure consistency of partner strategy and implementation.

This role reports to the Senior Director Online Distribution, Leisure and Airline and has direct line management responsibility for an Online Distribution Executive based in Frankfurt.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Online Distribution
• Acts as lead account manager for Expedia Group across the global RHG portfolio, holding overall account ownership
• As part of the wider Online Distribution team and alongside Manager Online Partnership colleagues, supports the optimisation of revenues generated by RHG’s wider partner portfolio, maximsing the efficiency of these partnerships
• Holds regular, data-led reviews with Expedia Group’s account management team identifying and presenting internally new opportunities that can support RHG objectives
• Subsequently takes ownership of implementation, education and measurement of these opportunities
• Has ownership and is accountable for RHG properties’ marketing spend on Expedia Group platforms
• Is the ‘go-to’ resource internally for all Expedia Group related opportunities and questions
• Supports the expansion strategy of RHG by ensuring the timely implementation of product distribution via Expedia Group at hotel level prior to new property opening
• Via direct management of the Online Distribution Executive (ODE) Central, Eastern and Southern Europe (CESE) owns the overall Online Distribution segment for the CESE operational area
• Ensures the ODE has the resources and training necessary to achieve area goals and manage effectively all relevant supplier relationships in the area
• Builds a close working relationship with RHG’s Revenue Generation teams to ensure tactical participation in Expedia Group programmes that drive to overall RHG budget targets
• Builds strong working relationships with brand eCommerce counterparts to ensure consistency across indirect and direct online channels

Other
• Serves as a company thought leader for broader online related issues and opportunities, especially within the CESE area
• Ensures best online practices from other RHG partners are evaluated and implemented where appropriate with Expedia Group
• Educates and mentors wider RHG teams and stakeholders on an ongoing basis to build overall RHG online skills and knowledge
• Supports the Senior Director to ensure effective team coordination and communication internally and within the wider RHG sales, distribution and revenue generation organisation
• Stays up-to-date on and communicates wider industry and competitive trends and activities, identifying and analysing new activities that may optimise revenues for RHG

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree from accredited university - eCommerce, Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality or related major preferred
• At least five years’ business experience in an international environment, with a focus on sales, account management and online distribution
• Experience gained in an OTA, Wholesaler or Hospitality group and previous revenue ownership an advantage. Previous experience working within Expedia Group is highly advantageous
• Demonstrates ability to build rapport and influence effectively with external partners and internal stakeholders
• Enjoys working in a geographically dispersed and ‘matrix’ environment and can communicate effectively and concisely at all levels
• Responsive to adapting strategies, style and approach as required by changes in business circumstance
• Displays passionate problem-solving, collaborative and analytical abilities, highly organised and adept at prioritisation
• Fluent in English with professional working knowledge of additional key languages an advantage
