Operations/ Event Manager Assistant

City Nights Hospitality, owner and operator of the iconic dual award-winning 48 Lounge and premiere cocktail/event venue Ascent Lounge is seeking for an experienced Operations/Events assistant to assist with daily operations and event planning. We are looking for a motivated individual who is looking for an opportunity to learn and grow with an established company with a great reputation.


Requirements:

- A minimum of 2-years experience in NYC nightlife as a Manager/Assistant Manager or Event Coordinator/Assistant Event Coordinator position
- A profound knowledge of restaurant operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, InDesign
- Strong time management and prioritization skills with ability to multi-task.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays.
- Must have a passion for hospitality, be personable, charismatic, energetic, approachable, positive, and outgoing!


Responsibilities:

- Handling incoming calls and other communications
- Managing filling system
- Procure, stock and organize all office supplies
- Schedule and plan meetings and appointments
- Escalate maintenance issues to the proper vendor
- Greeting clients and visitors as needed
- Assembling BEO's
- Coordinating events as necessary
- Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example
- Be a problem solver and thought leader
