We are currently looking for a Bar
Tender/Mixologist to join the team in one of our F&B Outlets.
The main focus will be to personally provide
service of beverages to our wonderful guests in line with company standards.
Key responsibilities of a Bartender will include:
- To warmly welcome guests into the Bar ensuring
that your voice, manner and behaviour portrays a warm, welcoming and friendly
demeanour at all times and to make best efforts to learn the Guest’s names and
personally recognise the regular customers.
- To ensure the bar is always fully stocked and
ready for service (prepare mis en place) adhering to set standards.
- To ensure the Bar area is kept clean and tidy at
all times and that cleaning schedules are adhered to.
- To be responsible for the professional
dispensing and serving of drink.
- To learn, fully understand and be able to
describe accurately all drinks on the menus so that all guests’ questions can be
answered correctly and without delay.
- - To show courtesy to guests and other staff
members at all times.
- - To adhere to the licensing and underage drinking
legislation, requesting adequate I.D. from any guests appearing to be under the
age of 18 before serving them alcohol.
- To ensure that payment is collected/ room
charges are signed for all drinks served.
- To manage an effective stock control system
ensuring that all items are secured and requisitioned in accordance with the
correct procedures.
- To carry out bar stock takes as required.
- To with any customer queries, requests,
complaints and compliments in a professional manner and to notify management of
same.
- To understand fully and be able to describe
accurately all dishes/drinks on the menus and cost of same.
The ideal candidate for the Bartender position
should:
- Have previous/current experience within a similar role, working behind a
full cocktail bar
- Have a good product knowledge in all aspects
of beverage (i.e. wines, spirits, beer, etc)
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be legally eligible to work in Ireland
- Have strong attention to detail
- Have a friendly, bubbly, flexible attitude and have an infectious drive to be
creative.
- Have the ability to handle busy situations and manage workload
effectively
