Transient Sales Manager, Corporate and Leisure

Situated in Downtown’s Second Street District, Austin Proper Hotel and Residences is the newest luxury lifestyle hotel in Austin, just steps from Lady Bird Lake, the legendary Austin City Limits music venue and nearby boutiques. With inspiring interiors by Kelly Wearstler and culinary offerings in collaboration with McGuire Moorman Lambert Hospitality, Austin Proper offers 244 rooms and suites, a dedicated spa and fitness center, and 14,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces, including a rooftop pool deck offering small-batch tequilas and majestic lake views. Anything less just wouldn’t be Proper.

Qualifications
The Transient Sales Manager, Corporate and Leisure will oversee the daily operations of the Sales function including the solicitation of business from all markets including but not limited to corporate, leisure and entertainment. The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years hospitality related sales experience and previous hotel sales experience in a luxury or lifestyle market. Strong local market knowledge of the Austin area, and a solid foundation in forecasting, prospecting, PMS, and Delphi software are desired. Strong sales skills required to oversee and drive sales. Excellent problem solving, analytical, organizational, presentation, and communication skills are required.

Education
B.A. Degree desired.
