Responsibilities
- Running the line and ensuring quality service
- Assist in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess colleague performance
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standard
- Communicating clearly with managers, kitchen and front of house staff
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience as a Supervisor or Lead Line Cook
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions
- Familiar with industry’s best practices
- BS degree in culinary science or related certificate would be a plus
- Valid Food Handlers Certification
