Accounting Manager
Description
Avalon Hotel Beverly Hills is seeking to hire an Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will assist the Director of Finance with all accounting and financial requirements for the Property, providing financial support with the goal of maximizing profit and safeguarding hotel assets. The main responsibilities for this role are managing the accounting records and financial reports, providing effective controls, developing best practices for financial accounting and control procedures, supporting and advising the finance department for Property. The Accounting Manager reports directly to the Director of Finance.
Qualifications
• A minimum of two (2) years’ supervisory experience in accounting in the Hospitality industry required
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to details
• Ability to create, present, discuss and explain financial results, performance and information clearly and accurately to all levels of employees and ownership
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Opera experience is a plus
Education
Bachelor’s degree is required.
