Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist


Description
The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist will focus on candidate search process improvement and provide an exceptional experience to business leaders, hiring managers and candidates by serving as a BNEG Ambassador through all phases of the recruiting process. This role is responsible for forecasting hiring needs, sourcing potential hires, building relationships with passive candidates and hiring managers and evaluating candidates qualifications by reviewing resumes and conducting initial interviews. This role will ensure BNEG attracts quality hires and retains high-performing hospitality driven employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Supports the Recruiting function by building pipelines of talent through effective and innovative sourcing and assessment approaches used to identify and attract 'best in class' job candidates and by managing the recruitment life cycle.
• Collaboratively consult with hiring managers to determine current staffing needs and recommend strategies for identifying and recruiting potential candidates.
• Draft/update job descriptions.
• Proactively create applicant pools by posting job ads through job boards, social media, state employment agencies, professional associations and employee referral programs. Report on effectiveness to include key recruiting KPI’s including time to fill position, cost of recruitment and source of hire.
• Deliver a seamless and positive recruiting experience for all candidates.
• Researches and recommends new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
• Evaluate applications, review resumes, complete initial phone interviews, conduct reference checks and background checks to narrow candidate pool.
• Make recommendations to hiring managers on the top candidates for in-person interviews.
• Prepare offer letters and non-compete documents. Ensuring that all documents are signed and returned prior to start date.
• Organize and participate in career fairs, college recruiting activates and other hiring events.
• Provide quarterly and annual hiring plans.
• Analyze turnover and retention rates to forecast hiring needs.
• Remain up to date on local, state and federal hiring laws and regulations.
• Experience with structured/behavioral based interviews.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
