Video Production Assistant - Internship
Description
Video Production Internship (Part-Time, Hourly) | Big Night Entertainment Group
We're expanding our internal video team and looking for a video production intern to develop new and exciting video content at BNEG. As our video production/post-production intern, you'll be working directly with our marketing team to produce and edit a variety of video content and coursework for the various BNEG brands.
Our ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality & the music industry. You should be self-motivated, a strong communicator, organized, and hungry to learn. A collaborative spirit combined with the ability to take direction is a must.
Internship Responsibilities Include:
• Production
• Assist with setup and teardown on shoot days (including lighting, audio, teleprompter, etc)
• Capture high quality b-roll and event footage as needed.
• Post-Production
• Sort through raw footage and compile the compelling clips to produce a rough cut
• Accrue and organize video assets: recordings, screen captures, animations, audio files.
• Layout and edit video content with a consistent look and feel that is on-brand and fits within our guidelines.
• Work with content team in a review process to organize and make edits as needed.
• Contribute creative ideas while striving to push content creation to the next level
• Researching and sourcing growing viral trends and content
• Publishing/YouTube Channel Management
• Optimize YouTube descriptions, metadata and transcriptions for better search visibility.
• Produce channel specific/short-form versions of content for use on a variety of social channels.
• Graphic Design/Animation
Qualifications
• Proficient knowledge in video technology, equipment and filming
• Experience in Final Cut Pro X (required)
• Strong After Effects, Photoshop, Motion skills a plus!
• Flexible schedule, working remotely, adapt to changes in deadlines and project scope
• Photography and video shooting experience a plus. Must have your own camera equipment.
• Knowledgeable in various camera systems.
• Interest in the restaurant, nightlife & music industries
• Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated communicator who follows direction and functions well in a dynamic team environment
• Must be creative, organized, and eager to learn
• Ability to handle multiple projects at once and help meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with different design formats for all digital platforms Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube
• Prior experience and understanding of working within brand guidelines and style guides
• Please submit demo reel or video samples, as well as your social media handles.
Bonus Skills:
• Motion graphics experience.
