Floor Attendant - PT

As a Floor Attendant at Bodega Taqueria y Tequila Fort Lauderdale, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the lounge by cleaning restrooms, public spaces, service areas and most importantly the lounge.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Maintains the overall cleanliness of the lounge by cleaning all assigned areas thoroughly on a daily basis
• Cleans public areas including: restrooms, service areas and all other areas of Bodega Taqueria y Tequila
• Completes work projects as assigned by supervisor and management
• Vacuums, shampoos, and removes bum spots from carpets as required
• Removes all litter from all locations
• Dusts all spots thoroughly
• Performs other cleaning duties as required
• Uses cleaning chemicals as necessary to clean assigned areas to standard
• Prevents any damage to lounge property by exercising proper caution with chemicals
• Ensures rapid maintenance and repair of lounge equipment by reporting all maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.

• Perform general cleaning tasks utilizing cleaning products to adhere to health and safety standards
• Additional duties as necessary and assigned

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education                  

High school or equivalent education preferred.

Experience    

6 month prior experience cleaning required, in a restaurant/lounge environment preferred.
