Kitchen Supervisor


Description

As a Kitchen Supervisor at Bodega Taqueria y Tequila Fort Lauderdale you will be responsible to supervisor and work the kitchen operations to ensure the team is following standard recipes, food safety and providing the highest level of food quality to our guests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assign, in detail, specific duties to employees for the efficient operation of the kitchen.
  • Supervise kitchen staff in the proper preparation of menu items and presentation.
  • Prepare food items following set for standards and recipes.
  • Assist Kitchen Manager in schedule kitchen staff so that proper coverage is maintained while keeping payroll costs in line.
  • Assist Kitchen Manager in proper receiving, storage (including temperature setting), and rotation of food products so as to comply with health department regulations.
  • Adhere to control procedures for cost and quality.
  • Adhere all kitchen staff follow food safety requirements.


QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Experience                 

Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Kitchen Supervisor required, preferred in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR).
