Description
We are looking for an experienced Floor Manager who has a real passion for delivering the highest levels of service in Balthazar in the heart of Covent Garden.
Balthazar restaurant is renowned for delivering a friendly and flawless service within a Parisian style, lively and bustling brassiere. The French brasserie and bistro dishes combine the best ingredients with the most traditional methods to produce food of exceptional quality. The restaurant delivers all day dining from a team who are passionate about delivering friendly, relaxed and energetic service in a vibrant and fast paced environment.
As Floor Manager you will be expected to:
• Managing the floor and working alongside the front of house team ensuring service runs smoothly and all revenue opportunities are maximised
• Ensure all customers receive the highest levels of service from all members of the team
• Support and deliver effective training ensuring the front of house team are fully trained in all aspects of the restaurant to effectively do their job
• Lead the front of house team by example; adopting a hands-on, can do approach
• Ensure any customer complaints are handled effectively and professionally and all customers leave with a positive dining experience
• Ensure effective communication between the front and back of house throughout service
• Actively support the General Manager with back of house administration such as holidays, rotas and ordering
The ideal candidate will:
• Currently by a Floor Manager or similar within a quality, dynamic, fast-paced restaurant environment
• Have a real passion for delivering the highest levels of service
• Have the ability to motivate and develop a team and create a strong teamwork ethic
• Be a clear and concise communicator
• Have the ability to multi-task effectively
