Description
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Demi Chef de Partie to join the team at Balthazar restaurant in Covent Garden.

Balthazar restaurant is renowned for delivering a friendly and flawless service within a Parisian style, lively and bustling brassiere. The French brasserie and bistro dishes combine the best ingredients with the most traditional methods to produce food of exceptional quality. The restaurant delivers all day dining from a team who are passionate about delivering friendly, relaxed and energetic service in a vibrant environment.
As Demi Chef de Partie you will support the Chef de Partie to ensure the smooth running of the section with all dishes leaving the section being of the highest quality and presentation. You must have a passion for developing your skills and knowledge to enable you to progress in the kitchen. Ability to take direction from the more senior chefs and be a good listener is essential as a Demi Chef de Partie. You will stand in for the Chef de Partie in their absence and be expected to maintain the high standards and quality of the restaurant.

We are ideally looking for a Demi Chef de Partie who:
• Has previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in high quality and busy destination restaurants
• Has a passion for food and working with seasonal high quality ingredients
• Has a keen desire to learn and is a highly motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Takes pride in the presentation and quality of their work
