BAR GOTO specializes in Japanese izakaya food and cocktails in Manhattan (and soon opening in Brooklyn).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food on the line
- Follow recipes and understand the importance of accuracy and consistency
- Execute food orders in a timely manner
- Keep station organized and clean
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Report inventory to management
DESIRED CANDIDATES:
- Punctual

REQUIREMENTS:
- Full Time (approx. 40 hrs per week)
- Weekend availability
- At least 2 yrs cooking experience with references
- NYC Food Handler Certificate desired or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Experience with Japanese cuisine desired but not required
