Are you an experienced Sous Chef who enjoys a fast paced service which combine quality on the plate with volume?

Does the thought of training and developing a small team excite you? Are you thinking of making the final steps towards becoming a head chef in the next couple of years?

If so, we’d like to talk to you about joining the team at Bistrotheque in Bethnal Green. Consistency and volume is what makes us tick. And we'd like to get you to a place where you have the confidence and knowledge to take over your own restaurant or secure the role of head chef.

We will train you in cost and stock control. We aim to run as efficiently as possible. WE believe it's all about control. We encourage you to lead the training of the junior kitchen team and to see the potential in people.  Even if you plan to open your own restaurant in the future, we can set you up now with the business skills and knowledge to help you succeed.

You will run a rota of six to seven chefs in an open plan kitchen and a separate private dining room which seats up to ninety. We’ve been here for a while, so we know what our targets are and how to achieve them.

Time Allocation Per Week:
— 4-5 days on 2-3 consecutive days off
— 48 hours per week

Remuneration:
— £36,000 per year
