Event Chef Freelance

Freelance Event chefs required to work on events at Bisrotheque in Bethnal Green.  There may also be some location work in and around London at other locations.  Art gallery dinners would be an example.   This is a service role that would suit an experienced chef looking for ad-hoc daytime hours to fit in and around other commitments.  We will reach out to you generally one month ahead to offer events shifts to agree or reject, based on your commitments.  There may be some shorter lead events, but you are only committed to those you accept.

Bistrotheque opened 17 years ago and was inspired by the humble French Bistro. We are located between Bethnal Green and Hackney, in a two-storey unmarked warehouse. Over time, we’ve built a loyal following of stylish East Londoners who appreciate quality and consistency. The team is small and friendly and we believe in mutual respect. 

E2, very close to Cambridge Heath Overground and a short walk to Bethnal Green Underground.

At least 2 years experience in a quality/volume kitchen with at least 1 year at sous chef level.  We are drawn to those who are team players and able to work within a framework with sufficient flexibility to cope with the unexpected.
