The Role:
As Junior General Manager, you will take on significant responsibilities for the day-to-day operations, performance, and profitability of one of our restaurants. Collaborating closely with the Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering top-tier guest and staff experiences. This role is ideal for someone with a commercial mindset, organizational skills, and a passion for hospitality who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Support all aspects of restaurant operations, maintaining service quality and efficiency in a lively setting.
- Guest Satisfaction: Uphold a guest-first approach, quickly addressing issues and gathering feedback to drive satisfaction.
- Team Development: Lead, motivate, and mentor the team, assisting with recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
- Financial Management: Monitor budgets, analyze financial data, and implement strategies to drive revenue and profitability.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and food safety standards, providing a safe environment for both staff and guests.
- Collaborative Growth: Work with the Business Development Manager on revenue-enhancing initiatives like promotions, guest engagement, and events.
What We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrated experience as an Assistant General Manager or equivalent in hospitality
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Solid understanding of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining operational excellence
- Up-to-date knowledge of health, safety, and food safety standards
