Food & Beverage Director

As a Food & Beverage Director you will be responsible for assuring attentive friendly courteous and efficient service in the daily operations of Bodega Taqueria y Tequila locations. The goal is maximizing food and beverage revenue; selecting, training and developing team members; establishing and maintaining quality product and service levels while maximizing profits; forecasting and budgeting. Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards and liquor laws. Keeps high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and insure outstanding customer service.

The Food & Beverage Director is charged with consistently improving guest and employee satisfaction.

Director of Food & Beverage Qualifications

• Food & Beverage Director candidates should have at least 4 years of progressive management restaurant related experience.
• Must be proficient in Windows operating systems Company approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Extensive experience in restaurant bar management required.
• Food & Beverage Director candidates must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Must work well in stressful high pressure situations maintaining composure and objectivity under pressure.
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessary.
• Must have the ability to assimilate complex information data etc. from disparate sources and consider adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need.
• Food & Beverage Director candidates must be effective at listening to understanding clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests.
• Communicates in a timely and efficient manner possess strong communication skills excellent speaking reading and writing skills computer skills.
• Knowledge and experience with forecasting budgeting labor management and purchasing to ensure maximum productivity.
• Maintain a professional working relationship and promote open lines of communication with managers employees and other departments.
• Knowledgeable and aware of local competition and industry trends.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in food and beverage management
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data into operational plan
• Ability to lead and direct a team
• Strong time management and negotiation skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members
• Ability to work extended hours when business necessitates
