About the role
We’re looking for an Assistant Manager to jump in and help create a great café environment for our customers and team. Our Assistant Managers are energetic, people-focused and get a buzz from delivering incredible customer experiences. An Assistant Manager at Boston needs to be open, empathetic and ready to share their skills and knowledge to nurture their team. All of these qualities combined make for great shifts. We believe that working together – looking after our people and the planet, will result in a sustainable profitable business.
Our Assistant Managers are supported by the General Manager and the wider BTP team, making sure you have everything you need to ace the job.
We believe that a balance between work and play is essential for human happiness, that's why we don't ask our people to work late or do split shifts.
Are you our person?
You’ll be people-focused (customer and team) with an eye for detail. You’ll have the experience to know that brilliant customer service promotes loyal customers, and you’ll take care of them whether it’s their first time at Boston, or they stop by for a flat white every day. You’ll be confident in your own abilities and calm when things get buzzing. As second in command you’ll be able to run smooth shifts in the absence of your General Manager. You will be conscious of the decisions you and the business make, as we want to have a long-term positive impact on the world around us.
