About the role
We’re looking for an absolute boss of a Head Barista. Someone who truly cares about turning out exceptional coffee (and tea) time after time. Our Head Baristas are responsible for running and maintaining the bar. That means keeping a beady eye on all drinks heading to customers and taking as much pride in how a smoothie tastes as a cortado.
We value our Baristas as an important part of the full Boston customer experience, so chatting confidently about coffee to curious customers and serving up drinks with our signature hospitality is key. As Head Barista we want you to be buzzing about our coffee and how we make it. Passing that knowledge and expertise onto your team will be important.
Our Head Baristas are supported by our General Managers and the wider BTP team.
We believe that a balance between work and play is essential for human happiness, that's why we don't ask our people to work late or do split shifts.
Are you our person?
You’ll be an experienced Barista who has racked up the hours on the coffee machine, but more than that, you’ll be obsessive about getting the grind right, volumetrics and silky smooth milk.
You’ll take pride in nurturing a team and watching them develop into an army of great baristas.
You will be conscious of the decisions you and the business make, as we want to have a long-term positive impact on the world around us.
