Description
Boutros is a New American restaurant with Middle Eastern Influences.
We are looking for people who share both our passion for warm and genuine hospitality and strong knowledge of food and drink. Experience in fine dining is preferred, but not necessary. Candidates should display an eagerness to learn and be able to demonstrate growth in previous positions held.
Must have attention to detail and able to follow instructions. Open kitchen, so cleanliness and ability to follow DOH standards a must.
Sous Chef:
• Minimum of 1 year Sous Chef experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate, coach and discipline staff.
• Communication and interpersonal skills with customers, employees, peers, and supervisors.
• Organized and self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient computer skills including knowledge of POS, inventory, cost control.
• Knowledge of all federal, state, & local health/ safety requirements (NYC Food Handler's Certification required).
• Flexible work schedule.
• Menu Development with the Executive Chef
