Host/Concierge

Description
The Front Desk Host, “Concierge,” is the face and leader of the Front Desk. The Concierge is responsible for greeting guests in a cheerful and welcoming manner and must be able to answer any guest inquiries regarding the venue as a whole. The Concierge takes guest names and information and manages the bowling waitlist, working directly with the management team in seating parties on the bowling lanes.

We are a fast paced and busy venue, and bowling is often in high demand. The Concierge is responsible for taking guest names for the waitlist, explaining bowling pricing and procedure, and seating parties as lanes become available. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to multi-task, think quickly on their feet and problem solve, all while maintaining an excellent level of customer service. This is a leadership role, and will require the ability to work well as a team, promoting positive and industrious attitudes behind the Front Desk.

Ideal candidates will be those with:
*2+ years New York City hosting experience (high volume environment preferred)
*Experience using Table’s Ready or similar platforms
*Stand-out personality and the ability to shine under pressure
*A proven track record of success working in a structured team environment
*The capacity for proactive and positive interactions with our guests and with fellow staff
*The drive and dedication to make sure all the little details are perfect
*Previous work in a live music venue a plus
*Flexible and open availability is a plus
*Availability Thursday – Sunday MANDATORY
