Area Chef – Brother Marcus | Eastern Mediterranean Dining up to £65,000 per year

Brother Marcus began as a small neighbourhood spot and has steadily grown into a group of restaurants that share our love for Eastern Mediterranean flavours.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for our next Area Chef — someone who lives and breathes food, loves developing people, and is obsessed with quality. This is your chance to play a key role in our next chapter and help shape the future of Brother Marcus.


The Role:

As our Area Chef, you’ll be the heartbeat of food excellence across multiple Brother Marcus locations. Working closely with our Food and Operations teams, you’ll make sure every kitchen reflects our signature flavours, warm hospitality, and meticulous attention to detail.


You’ll be hands-on in:

• Training and inspiring our kitchen teams to deliver exceptional quality and consistency.

• Maintaining Brother Marcus’ high standards for food safety, health & safety, and kitchen operations.

• Driving succession planning and developing future talent.

• Managing budgets, controlling costs, and supporting sites to achieve strong financial performance.

• Communicating clearly and collaboratively across teams to keep everyone aligned and inspired.


What Brother Marcus needs from you:

You’re an experienced area chef leader with a passion for food, people, and growth. You’ll bring:

• Proven experience managing multiple sites within a quality-driven restaurant group.

• Strong leadership, training, mentoring, and coaching skills - you get the best from your teams.

• A sharp eye for detail and a drive for operational excellence.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Financial acumen and commercial awareness.

• In-depth knowledge of food safety and health & safety standards.

• Calmness under pressure and a can-do attitude.
