Description

Reporting into the Managing Director, the Head of Delivery will run the show in all thing’s delivery at Burger & Lobster. You will be responsible for all take away and delivery services within the current estate and be responsible for our ambitious growth plans in the delivery only space.  

The role. 

  • Accountable for the performance of our take-away and delivery sites including full P&L and budget accountability and the autonomy to make decision to drive business and financial growth
  • Responsible for all take away and delivery services within our current estate; reviewing current operation and performance, and drive initiatives to drive sales and drive process optimisation
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of our virtual kitchen growth plans, all the way from new site feasibility studies, negotiation of terms, to kitchen equipment procurement, design and setup
  • Responsible for cuisine selection within future virtual kitchen locations, based on a strong understanding of market trends bespoke to geographic location
  • Oversee the design and build of future new virtual kitchen sites, ensuring the sites are delivered in-line with brief, timescales, and on budget
  • Complete operational responsibility of the takeaway and delivery sites, inclusive of management of the Kitchen Managers (typically 1 per site), team recruitment and the upskilling and development of your direct reports
  • Strong working knowledge of H&S, HACCAP, & compliance

Your previous experience & ability.

  • Seasoned in manging multi-site virtual/delivery only kitchens
  • Able to maximise ROI all the way from negotiation of site terms to kitchen procurement and setup
  • Experienced in undertaking feasibility studies in relation to virtual kitchen locations and able to communicate the findings effectively to all key stakeholders to allow for informed decision making
  • Experienced in managing multiple budgets and P&Ls
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and project planning skills
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships with ease
  • Tenacity to drive the agenda forward without close supervision
