Description
Food Delivery Business General Manager (GM):
(Salaried / Exempt)

Base: $75K
Bonus: % of Sales
Benefits: After three (3) months

The Green Summit Group in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and the Financial District, NYC seeks qualified Front of House (FOH) managers with strong customer service and team leadership skills. Applicant must have previous management experience managing a P&L with revenue of at least $3MM, strong leadership skills, and the demonstrated ability to manage a team of at least 40 hourly staff. You will help train, hire, onboard, and develop a high caliber team with a sense of urgency. You will ensure that food production / delivery and customer-service standards are all high quality. The position requires the ability to handle the back office administrative duties including, scheduling labor costs, POS systems, and the ability to manage costs. Please have solid references and a history of achievement in the restaurant and / or hospitality industries or big box retail / large fitness facilities. Must have a flexible schedule. Responsibilities:
• Manage entire kitchen and food delivery operation
• Manage, build, and develop restaurant staff
• Training and monitoring staff
• Ensuring daily operations are running smoothly
• Maintain high degree of kitchen cleanliness, health, and hygiene
• Deliver superior guest services and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
• Organize and supervise shifts / scheduling
• Estimate consumption, ordering, forecast requirements and maintain inventory
• Monitor compliance with sanitation, safety rules, and regulations
• Control costs and minimize waste
• Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions

Requirements:
• 2+ yrs. working experience as P&L manager
• Demonstrated experience in customer service
• Language skills. Proficiency in English. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
• Computer literacy (Excel, Word, POS)
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• He or she must be an effective communicator who can establish and maintain rapport with all levels of staff, and who can communicate effectively with staff.
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to multi-task
• Must have a “can do” attitude with a strong willingness to work as a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Flexible and adaptable to change
• Hands on, roll up sleeve management
• Proficient with Seamless / GrubHub a plus
• Health Dept. knowledge a plus
• NYC food certificate a plus
