With a full nursery of garden and indoor plants, eco-friendly growing supplies, home and garden décor, furniture, containers and gifts, we offer something for every home and garden.

We are hiring full-time and part-time Café Assistant/s.

Job Type / Category

• Delivering the best coffee experience to every guest along with the highest levels of customer service.
• Demonstrating your product knowledge to customers by advising and making suggestions.
• Taking orders, making and serving drinks, operating the till and serving the food.
• Maintaining stock levels and supporting with back of house duties

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• It is essential that you are able to demonstrate previous experience of delivering excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication skills are also essential.
• A proactive enthusiastic adaptable approach, and can do attitude, committed to exceeding customers’ expectations, within a team environment.
• Some Barista experience would be advantageous however this is not essential as training "our way" is given and ongoing.
• Accuracy in cash-handling and the ability to follow directions is important
• We are open 7 days a week, 9am - 5.00pm during the summer, with the cafe serving hot food between 9am and 4pm.
