Description

CAVA is a rapidly expanding fast casual restaurant and CPG brand focusing on fresh, Mediterranean inspired, better-for-you cuisine. Born from our full service restaurants, our chef-driven fast casual format will soon be in five states with further expansion ahead. We are looking for a talented Area Leader to help implement our vision. The position will report to the Regional Leader, require a passion for our mission and the drive to build teams at 5-8 restaurants.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate the vision of CAVA to all Managers and teams and ensure that our vision is executed every day in all of our restaurants.
• Work with Management Teams to oversee all restaurant operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness and safety are being met, team members are providing exceptional customer service and that our restaurants have a safe and happy work environment.
• Teach General Managers how to: create accurate schedules based upon sales forecasts, manage appropriate food inventories and manage labor on a weekly basis.
• Identify crew members with high potential and ensure that training plans are created and implemented to help develop our future leaders.
• Partner with General Managers to hire, onboard and train new hires.
• Instruct restaurant teams on menu changes including seasonal roll-outs
• Ensure Managers are following all HR guidelines.
• Ensure restaurants are managed within budget and maintain a profitable P&L statement.
• Create an encouraging and motivating environment for managers and crew members.

Requirements:

• Several years of multi-unit restaurant management experience
• Must believe in a hands on managing style and be willing to lead by example
• Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical skills to identify trends, make operational decisions and solve problems
• Knowledgeable of and have the ability to use a PC and MS Office Suite proficiently
